The Information Technology team is committed to providing ongoing support and long term scalable planning solutions for the Diakonia companies.  Our goal is to build a diverse team that encourages the cross pollination of ideas and inspires team chemistry to deliver a scalable infrastructure to support diverse customer needs.



About the Role

We have a need to develop several business process improvements to assist our Project Management, Engineering and Installation teams as they manage long term engineering projects.  The solutions will likely include custom App development integrating with document management.  We are looking for a resourceful IT Project Manager to outline the scope, recommend software solutions (including customized apps) then work with developers and functional clients from various disciplines to provide solutions.



In this role, you will…

  • Need 3-4 years IT Project Management experience including scope definition, solution recommendations, budget management, communication, prioritization by ROI
  • Need experience working directly with IT development teams to drive project and process improvements with significant operational impact
  • Need excellent documentation skills
  • Need strong problem-solving skills
  • Database experience is required
  • Enterprise Document Management experience is preferred
  • Barcode development and implementation is useful but not required
